Save a Life with the Rotary Club of Tauranga Sunrise
This project is a fundraiser under management by the Rotary Club of Tauranga Sunrise. All profits made will be used to fund charitable projects supported by our Club, so we thank you for your support.
Our History
In 2015, our incoming President saw the capsule keyrings on a tradesite at the Hamilton Homeshow (with the site manned by the visionaries for this project, John Dentice, Jill O’Sullivan and Brian Rickard from Palmerston North). With his interest piqued, he approached the Palmerston North trio to enquire about adopting the sale of the capsules as a fundraiser. Three months later, the rights for New Zealand were transferred to the Rotary Club and as they say, the rest is history. To date, thousands of dollars have been raised from this venture, and more than 40 lives have probably been saved as a result. Hats off to you John, Jill and Brian – and to all the members of the Rotary Club who have thrown their energy into this project.
Our mission is that every New Zealand adult will carry an aspirin so they are ready to assist when faced with a heart attack emergency.

Alternatively, Savealife keyrings are $4 each or 3 for $10 and available via partner local retailers (Paper Plus Bethlehem, Living Quarters Bethlehem, First National Tauranga, Bay of Plenty Times office Tauranga), at Welcome Bay Community Centre (in Tauranga) or via our partner Rotary Clubs, our supporting corporates and their respective retail networks.
