NEW SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETATION ACCESS AND MORE
The month of May is here, and with it, comes the 2023 Rotary International Convention. In this special edition, you will find important information about how to navigate the new simultaneous interpretation procedure, along with information about the upcoming Orientation webinar, Mobile App, and Program Book.

SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETATION
All general sessions are conducted in English with simultaneous interpretation (SI) available in English, French, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Portuguese, and Spanish. All breakout sessions and events are presented in English and some sessions will offer simultaneous interpretation in select languages. Check the Program Book and Rotary Events App for details.

New this year: You can access simultaneous interpretation (SI) through your personal smart device by scanning a QR code, located at the entrance of each meeting room with interpretation, or by clicking on the web link associated with the session you are attending in the Rotary Events App. An interpretation widget will open in your browser so you can select your preferred language. Headphones and an internet connection are required.

If you have SI questions onsite, visit the Interpretation and Rotary Events App Help counters at Rod Laver Arena (Concourse Level) and Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in Registration and Plenary foyer (MCEC, Exhibition Centre, Ground Level, Exhibition Doors 1 and 2 and MCEC, Convention Centre, Ground Level, Plenary Foyer). Additional Interpretation assistance will be available at Arch Klumph Society events offering interpretation: AKS Preconvention Ceremony (MCEC, Exhibition Centre, Level 1, Clarendon Auditorium) and Donor Summit (Crown Towers, Level 1, Palladium Room) at the beginning of the event.
