Mrs Leonie Tisch, of Matamata, Queen's Service Medal for services to health and the community.Leonie Tisch served on the Waikato District Health Board and is an active member of the Waikato Heart Trust.
She is Deputy Chair of the charitable Pohlen Hospital Trust Board.
She was involved with Waikato Community Trust (now Trust Waikato) as a member of several sub-committees.
She was Independent Hearings Commissioner and Qualified Chair of the Matamata-Piako District Council.
Mrs Tisch has been a member of multiple school trustee associations.
She is a Matamata Rotarian and was the Club’s first woman President. She was District Governor and a member of the Rotary Club’s Leukaemia Research Trust.
