Rotary Convention spotlights polio on the world stage

Strong global partnerships are critical to maintaining momentum against the virus on the long road to eradication.

This month, Rotary’s International Convention brought Rotarians and other critical polio stakeholders together in Toronto,

Canada to celebrate unity in the fight against polio. The event drew high-level leaders including World Health Organization Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, both of whom emphasized their personal commitment to a polio-free world.
