Overview
Important information for club secretaries
A one-stop shop!!
Club secretaries will find that the new District 9930 website is a one-stop-shop for managing club records. In the past, the club secretary was expected to provide member information to both Rotary International and to District 9930... a duplication of effort which resulted in a great many errors and omissions. Now you only need to maintain your club records in the district website and they will be automatically updated on the Rotary International database.
What do I need to do?
FIRST you need to have a login name and password for the district website. You only need to obtain your login and password details once. After you have done this you will be automatically logged in each time you open the district website. If you haven't set up your login name and password you must do this before proceeding (CLICK HERE)
NEXT just click on any of the functions shown in the left column for instructions.
Should I continue to use "My Rotary" in the Rotary International website to maintain member and club records?
NO!!! Although you can continue to manage your club records in the Rotary International website, there is a very good reason why you should do it only through the district website .... because:
- When you manage your records in the district website every change you make (add/delete members, update member records, change club info, etc) will be automatically updated on the Rotary International database.
- However, if you continue to manage your records in the Rotary International website any changes you make will not be automatically updated in the district database.
To insure that both the Rotary International and District member and club records are in sync it is important that you manage these records only through the district website.

Special note to clubs with ClubRunner websites:
If your club is a ClubRunner subscriber you have the unique advantage of using your own website to manage your club records. Working in your club records on your own club website is the same as if you were working in the district website. Again, the one-stop system prevails. Just manage your club records in your club site and everything will be automatically synced with both the district and Rotary International databases.
