District Governor Nominations
Candidates for office must be members of a club in the District, must have been a Rotarian for a minimum of seven years and must have served as a Club President for a full term.
The procedure for the precise detail of qualifications, status and duties of the District Governor is:
The District Governor will call for nominations from clubs to be received by 28 February each year.
The nominating Sub-Committee consisting of the District Governor and the last four Past District Governors most recently in office will advise the District Governor of their selection before 31 March.
Those Clubs who nominate a candidate are given confidential notification of the preferred nominee and the clubs have a limited time in which to appeal.
The District Governor Nominee will succeed to office two years hence.
