Discover - Rotary Down Under

Rotary Down Under (RDU) is the official magazine for Rotarians in New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific Islands.  It is published monthly and includes articles about both the global work of Rotary and Rotary in the South Pacific.  The magazine also includes editorials and letters to the editor focusing on current issues facing Rotary - both challenging and controversial.  Rotary Down Under is available in both a printed and on-line version.

How to get published in Rotary Down Under

All that's needed are about 300 words about who, what, why, when, where and how, emphasising the new and/or unique or very successful ongoing human interest aspects (in Word format), attached to an email to berylrobinson@rotarydownunder.co.nz plus hopefully up to five close-up action digital photos (minimum 300KB/dpi for magazine quality in .jpg format) separately attached to the same email as the article, with photo captions clearly identifying the photos at the bottom of the article. Pictures to be considered for the magazine cover must be or capable of being cropped to portrait shape with space at the top for the magazine masthead, and the final photo file size should ideally be over 1MB. Pictures must be separate attachments (not embedded into the article document). Please put “RDU Article from Rotary Club of … / District ….” in the email subject line. Publication in the magazine is at the discretion of the RDU Editor.

Submit copies of your article and photos as widely as possible to support your public relations and membership activities.  Please copy all articles sent to any media to berylrobinson@rotarydownunder.co.nz. More detailed guidance is available on www.rdu.rotarysouthpacific.org which contains RDU NZ and Pacific Islands-specific information.
