Mission Statement
To be a respected, inclusive and forward-thinking service organisation that makes a positive and lasting difference in our community.
We will:
- Serve with integrity, upholding Rotary’s values and the principles of the Four-Way Test in everything we do.
- Build friendship, fellowship and fun, creating a welcoming club where members enjoy being involved and feel valued.
- Make a meaningful difference in our community through practical, worthwhile and hands-on service projects that respond to local needs.
- Invest in our youth, working alongside local schools, colleges, community organisations and other Rotary clubs to create opportunities and help young people reach their potential.
- Keep Rotary relevant, embracing new ideas, modern practices and contemporary ways of serving our community while respecting the traditions that have shaped Rotary.
- Support Rotary Foundation causes and international projects, including ShelterBox, Interplast, PolioPlus and Days for Girls, recognising that our service can have an impact well beyond Paeroa.
- Build a diverse and inclusive membership that better reflects the people and communities we serve.
- Grow and strengthen our club by giving equal importance to attracting new members, welcoming them into Rotary and retaining and supporting our existing members.
- Be visible, connected and engaged, building strong relationships with local organisations, businesses, schools and community groups.
Our aim is simple: to make Rotary Paeroa a club where people want to belong, where friendship and service go hand in hand, and where what we do makes a genuine difference to the people and communities around us.
