It has a long record of community and international activities including visits and exchanges with Rotarian's and students worldwide. We welcome all those associated with building world understanding and peace.

Hamilton, with an urban population of 185,000 is New Zealand's largest inland city. It is growing rapidly due to its strategic location in the heart of the fertile Waikato district which is situated in the centre of the North Island. The region accounts for nearly 40% of the nation's dairy cattle. Dairying, bloodstock, horticulture and associated industries contribute almost 19% of New Zealand's total exports. Hamilton is also close to tourist resorts and has extensive tertiary educational facilities and agriculture research establishments.
