The concert is organized by Oruawharo & Waipukurau Rotary with the funds raised being donated to the Rotary River Pathway Trust to further extend the trail plus add some enhancements to the existing pathway.

Helen Medlyn and David Selfe come together to perform at Oruawharo Homestead for an afternoon full of fun and laughter.
Helen Medlyn was awarded the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to performing arts last year. She is established as a regular guest artist with opera companies and orchestras throughout Australasia, Asia, America, and Britain. Known for her versatile dramatic performances, Medlyn has played Fräulein Schneider in the Auckland Theatre Company's season of Cabaret and performed Messiah with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra in the Sydney Opera House while also taking the 'trouser' role of Prince Orlovsky in the National Business Review New Zealand Opera season of Die Fledermaus.
