Rotary provides all sorts of fantastic connections! And, The Meat Box is a wonderful organisation that aligns perfectly with our District 9930 Conference Theme of Sustainability this year.

Information about The Meat Box
The Meat Box’s innovative packaging allows meat and chilled items to be distributed nationwide whilst minimising waste. Their boxes are lined with Woolpack liners which not only help keep items chilled, they are also natural and compostable! The Meat Box have replaced the use polystyrene with a recyclable cardboard box, and they have a circular packaging model where customers can send back their Woolpack liners and ice packs to be reused if they have no further use for them, instead of throwing them in the bin.  Or could be later if you want

The Meat Box also minimises food waste by preparing meat to order wherever possible. Instead of holding a lot of stock and disposing anything that isn’t used causing waste, The Meat Box cuts the majority of their stock to order meaning that customers are not only getting fresh meat, The Meat Box are reducing waste by only preparing what has already been ordered.

Home hosting is still available for the conference to help keep your cost down when you come to Cambridge. This will be available up till the 12th April when we will allocate hosts to the applicants.

Please register now to be in the draw.
