7 November –Rory Macdonald was our guest speaker.
Rory is a professional farrier and gave us an insight into his trade.
He talked about his historical connection with horses, his training and working overseas in Singapore.
After answering many questions, he gave a live demonstration of how to make and forge a shoe for a horse.
He also showed us various tools he is uses.
