Rotary's Harkness Fellowship

The Harkness Fellowship is for emerging New Zealand leaders in any field of study or vocation (excluding health care policy and practice) to study or research in the US for between eight and twelve weeks.

One New Zealand Harkness Fellowship worth NZ$30,000 will be offered in 2017 (for travel in 2018), to a person who is currently employed in a public sector organisation* in New Zealand. * This includes the State Services, tertiary education institutions, State-Owned Enterprises and Crown companies, agencies that operate as part of the Legislative Branch of Government, and local Government. Fulbright New Zealand Scholar Awards
Fulbright New Zealand Scholar Awards are for New Zealand academics, artists or professionals to lecture and/or conduct research at US institutions. A small number of awards valued at up to US$37,500 are granted each year, towards three to five months of lecturing and/or research. Apply by 1 October

Fulbright-Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga Scholar Award
The Fulbright-Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga Scholar Award is for a New Zealand academic, artist or professional to lecture and/or conduct research at a US institution in the field of indigenous development. One award valued at up to US$37,500 is granted each year, towards three to five months of lecturing and/or research. Apply by 1 October
