Rotary District 9930 Hawkes Bay RYPEN weekend is on again this year at the Guthrie Smith Outdoor Education Centre, Lake Tutira; the weekend of 13th March – 15th March 2020. R.Y.P.E.N is not a leadership course but is aimed at the “middle of the road” students (14 to 16 years age group), who are able to benefit from such a course.
The course will improve and enhance their confidence, motivation, team working and goal setting skills and give an opportunity to take part in a range of outdoor activities, tutored and lead by fully qualified outdoor instructors.
At this stage, the budgeted cost is $200 00 per student (which the Club will pay). However, the more students who go, the lower the cost.
Members of Greenmeadows Rotary cook clean and generally help in running the weekend and any support from members of our club would be very welcome. Please let me know you would like to be a helper. Thank you.
