I feel privileged and honoured to have been made District Governor for 2019-20.
Mary and I are excited about our year ahead. We are looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible as we visit clubs around the District over the next 4 months.
As you know the theme for this year is “Rotary Connects the World” and I will be talking more about this when we visit your club.
At the beginning of each year, most of us make “New Year’s resolutions” so why don’t we do the same at the start of a new Rotary Year? Maybe ….
- Grow my Club’s Membership
- Support Rotary Foundation
- Bring a friend along
- Tell more people about the good work that Rotary does
- Engage more with the community
- Support our youth programs (RYPEN, RANZSE, RFE and RYLA)
- Eradicate Polio.
By working together – we will really make a difference in the world – and have fun and fellowship together as well as developing ourselves.
