Sadly, PDG Mike Smith passed away suddenly on Tuesday evening 13 September, surrounded by friends. Mike joined Rotary in 1980 and became a member of the Ahuriri (Napier) Club in 1984. He was the District Governor of District 9930 from 2015-2016. Mike was a regular attendee at our District Advisory Council Meetings. Mike was a Paul Harris recipient with 5 sapphires. Mike was also a Paul Harris Society member.
PDG Mike Smith’s funeral is to be held at 2 pm Monday 19 September at the Napier War Memorial Centre, Marine Parade.
