Larry reported another very successful weekend with 27 students (including Kristine) representing 10 of the 12 clubs in the catchment area from Gisborne to Waipukurau.He thanked Kevin and Mort for donations of fruit and other members for the baking which is really enjoyed by the students.
He also thanked the members and partners who helped himself and Christine over the weekend namely Peter and Donna, Ken and Carol, Les and Lynne, Brian, Penny, and Gill. Vivian Edgar, the District 9930 RYPEN Chairperson was also in attendance for most of the weekend.

Again, congratulations must go to Larry and Chris McKenna for the superb organisation of this major project which our club runs on behalf of District. The only disappointing aspect of the weekend is that all the Greenmeadows members who take part are the same ones who go year after year.
It would be great to have some new faces so that more members are aware of the fantastic benefits that participants get in terms of personal growth and enjoyment as well as new friendships that develop during the weekend. It also enhances fellowship among the members who attend.
