District Governor Leonie Tisch and District 9930 Rotary Foundation Chair Colin Olesen are pleased to advise
that $40,470 has been approved for distribution as District Grants for 2017-18.
These grants were possible as a result of contributions from both Clubs and individual Rotarians to the Foundation Annual Fund in 2015-16.
A total of 19 applications were received totaling $73,000. All clubs that put in an application, had their applications approved, but they had to be scaled back to ensure all clubs could benefit from a grant.
As you read through the summary of the applications, you will note that they are all very worthy of support and we thank those clubs for initiating a project.
