At our last meeting, we had as guest speakers Emma Riddle (left) and Ashleigh Megaw (right) who spoke on their experiences at the Rotary Youth Programme of Enrichment held west ofHuntly recently.

Emma and Ashleigh are year 10 (4th Form) students at Te Aroha College.

They were part of a group of 16 girls and 8 boys who spent a weekend together, which, by their own admission was too short to get to know their new-found friends. They enjoyed the kayaking, horse riding and feeding the farm animals including alpacas and sheep.

They comment that they had heaps of fun and still keep in touch with their new friends. It sounds as if they certainly were enriched !
