Location: Life Flight Waikato Base, Boyd Road, Rukuhia, Hamilton Airport
The official reveal of Life Flight’s Waikato Base at Hamilton Airport, marking an important milestone for the organisation.
This purpose-built facility will strengthen Life Flight’s operational presence in the central North Island and support the delivery of 24/7 aeromedical services for the Waikato region and beyond.
The event will be attended by invited Ministers, local elected representatives, sector partners, and key stakeholders, reflecting the significance of this investment and the role of Life Flight within New Zealand’s emergency and health system.
We would value your attendance on this occasion, which will provide an opportunity to formally mark the opening of the base and view the new facility. The programme will include:
- Official proceedings and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
- A guided tour of one of our Air Ambulance Plane.
- Light refreshments and the chance to meet our lifesaving flight crews.
