Trish O'Reilly recognised with award.

It was an honour and pleasure for District Governor Keith Owens to recently recognise Past District Governor Trish O’Reilly with a Rotary Foundation Major Donor Level 2 acknowledgment. 

 

The Appreciation Presentation of an engraved crystal together with a diamond pin took place at an annual meeting of past District Governors and the current team.

 

Trish was our first female District Governor, occupying the role in the 2003-04 Rotary year.  She went on to become very involved in the administration of the ROMAC programme.

 

Trish said receiving the recognition caught her ‘completely by surprise.’  Both Trish and her late husband Terry have always given generously to the Foundation.  Trish said she remains very impressed with the good things the Foundation does and it continues as her charity of choice.
