Rotary Youth Exchange Bye Byes, Fairewells

The Districts outbound Rotary International Youth Exchange students recently gathered in Rotorua for their final orientation before embarking on their year of adventure in mid January.

They are headed for Europe, North America and South America. The photo shows 11 of the 12 students in their travelling wardrobe, along with District Governor Keith – don’t they (the students) look real smart! We wish them a great time away.

The day doubled up to farewell four South American students who will be leaving soon after being in our District for the last year.

One of the students left a few days before the final get-together. Those in the photo are displaying their certificates and . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . A special thanks to the clubs and families who hosted these inbound students.
