What a wonderful way to spend a late afternoon in Wellington - especially as it will be raining!Can I ask that you and members of your club take the opportunity to get along and support my cuzzie Rodger Fox with the final fund raising push to get the Rodger Fox Big Band to the Monterey Jazz Festival.This is a great opportunity to support an iconic kiwi musician in celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Monterey Jazz Festival with his world renown Big Band. Get a taste of Rodger's Big Band live this Sunday at the Grand Hotel Wellington, doors open at 4pm .. with a modest door entry fee ($10 and $5 for students)!!
I am hoping to see the talents of Rodger and his musical prodigies with many local youth Jazz bands be a special part of RotaFEST - Our Festival of Rotary in Palmerston North 11-13 May, 2018.
