Further to the Earthquake Appeal

Rotary District 9930 has a contingency fund to enable our prompt response when disasters such as the earthquake occur.  In this regard, I confirm the District is making an immediate contribution of $10,000 to RNZWCS (Rotary New Zealand World Community Services) with the money to be solely deployed towards this disaster. 

 

This email is an invitation for clubs in this District to consider assisting by direct crediting contributions to Rotary District 9930’s bank account at Westpac account number 03-1552-0121120-00.  Please identify your club in the particulars field.

 

The above instruction is at variance to information already received from RNZWCS.  The intention is first monies received from clubs will reimburse the District advance of $10,000 and all additional monies received thereafter will be applied by the District to the cause.

 

These arrangements do not preclude Rotarians and others from contributing to the cause in a personal capacity
